The Sabbath

The celebration of the Sabbath in the time of Jesus was very important to the Jews. Though the Sabbath rituals and ceremonies used by Orthodox Jews today were developed shortly after the time of Jesus, they show us the Jewish beliefs about the Seventh Day of the Week.
